Job Description

Beatrice Bakery is looking for a full-time Production Team Member to join us at our production facility in Beatrice, NE!

The Production team is responsible for producing all of the high-quality products in our catalogue, ensuring that every cake is made with care before being sent to satisfied customers around the world. Typical duties include: cake presser, fruit topper, cake depanning, slicing, packing, and cleaning equipment. An ideal candidate will be reliable, willing to learn, a team player, and able to follow policies and procedures according to strict food and production safety guidelines.

Pay starts at $15.50 per hour, and a typical shift is 7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday - Friday, with some mandatory overtime during the busy season.

Qualifications

-Experience in food production or service
-Good communication and listening skills
-Basic math skills

Additional Information

-Must have the ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift required containers up to 50lbs and push/pull 1,000lbs on wheeled cart.
-Must have visual/hearing ability sufficient to recognize or detect warning devices/signs and deviations from production standards.
-Must be capable of maintaining production output under normal production environmental conditions (temperature extremes).
-Must be capable of movement throughout the plant.
-Must be able to adhere to proper procedures.
-Must have visual perception to adequately evaluate product color and size, as well as taste and smell for evaluation of products.
-Must have the ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and distinctly.
