Job Description

To support this mission, Syngenta's Active Ingredient Production Team is seeking a Production Tech in St Gabriel, LA. This role will provide for safe and efficient operation of the equipment in the operating area. Ensure operations meet the quality, production demand, environmental, and safety compliance regulations.

Accountabilities:

• Provide all product and quality demands without production curtailment.
• Coordinate waste management issues with waste coordinator and others as necessary.
• Participate actively on unit TPR Team.
• Develop and/or recommend proposals to improve efficiency, HSE performance, and reduce costs through the OpEx Idea program.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in the unit.
• May be required to participate on Emergency Response Teams.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage changing roles and responsibilities.
• Willingness to embrace, accept, and implement change.
• Flexibility and self-control in dynamic work environments.
• Interpersonal awareness and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Concern for impact and efficiency orientation.

Desired:

• PTech degree.
• Chemical operations experience.
