    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Make electrolytes by: Weighing chemicals, dissolving them into solutions, following introduction methods via recipe, and following safety data sheet (SDS) and standard handling protocols.

    2. Fixture parts or standard research specimens.

    3. Work with hand tools.

    4. Operate PEO power supplies, chillers, and oscilloscopes.

    5. Ability to understand measuring equipment and perform calibrations (e.g. Eddy current probe, pH meter, conductivity meter, and multimeter and electrical insulation meter).

    6. Perform surface area, current density, quantity of electricity calculations, calculate total amp hour/liter for each bath.

    7. Read and understand blueprints and part drawings.

    8. Categorize and quantify results and present to the team for further analysis.

    9. Complete other tasks/projects as assigned by your supervisor.

    10. Follow all ISO 9001, AS9100, internal quality policies, OSHA safety regulations, and company safety policies.

    Job Requirements:

    1. Must be a U.S. Citizen/Green Card holder. Sponsorship is not provided for this position.

    2. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

    3. Must possess strong mathematical skills (i.e. algebra, statistics, etc.).

    4. Must have excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

    5. Must have excellent organizational skills.

    6. Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude with competency using basic hand tools.

    7. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.

    8. Previous experience in metal working, machine shops, electrical/plumbing and drafting is highly desirable.

    9. Working knowledge of GD&T a plus.

    10. Strong chemistry experience or chemical handling a plus.

    11. Forklift experience is a plus.

    12. Overhead crane experience is a plus.

    13. All employment at IBC is conditional upon results from a background check and drug test.
