    Position Title: Production Technician

Company Info: Roof Rite and Service Rite are two halves of the same coin. We handle everything from residential and commercial roofing to multi-family property maintenance and emergency mitigation.

But here’s what you actually need to know about working with us: We aren't a massive, faceless corporation, and we aren’t a tiny "chuck-in-a-truck" operation either. We’re a fast-growing, family-oriented business that runs on a "refuse to lose" grit. We keep things honest, humble, and fast-paced. If you want a place where your skills are actually respected and where you can help develop the future, you'll fit right in.

Role Info: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Production Technician to serve as our front-line technical expert. In this role, you are the "special forces" of our production team—responsible for executing precise repairs, troubleshooting complex site issues, and ensuring every project meets our 5-star quality standards. Whether you are specializing in roofing, commercial service, or mitigation, you are a master of your trade who takes pride in flawless execution. If you are a proactive problem-solver who enjoys a mix of independent repair work and supporting larger crew operations, we want you on our team.

Company: Roof Rite Exteriors & Service Rite

    Position Type:

    Role: Full-Time / Skilled Trade

    Location: Lincoln, NE (Field-Based)

    Reporting to: Production Manager

    Description of Duties:

Technical Repair Execution: Independently perform high-quality repairs, punch-list items, and "detail work" that requires specialized trade knowledge.

Specialty-Specific Operations: Execute tasks within your designated division, including residential/commercial roof repairs (Roof Rite), multi-family maintenance (Service Rite), or certified remediation (Mitigation).

Subcontractor Support: Assist Production Managers by providing on-site technical guidance to subcontractor crews, ensuring they follow the scope of work and company SOPs.

Field Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve unforeseen technical or structural challenges on active job sites to keep projects moving forward.

Real-Time Documentation: Use company technology to capture "before, during, and after" photos and update project notes immediately upon completion of tasks.

Equipment & Material Readiness: Manage your assigned service vehicle and tools, ensuring all equipment is maintained and necessary materials are staged for daily work orders.

    Skills & Requirements:

Proven Craftsmanship: 3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, roofing, or restoration trades with a "master-level" understanding of repair techniques.

Trade Versatility: Broad knowledge of building assemblies, including roofing systems, siding, gutters, and general carpentry.

Independent Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose leaks or structural failures and execute a permanent solution without constant supervision.

Certification (Mitigation Only): For Mitigation specialists, current IICRC certifications (WRT/AMRT) are required.

Communication: Ability to explain technical repairs to homeowners or building managers in a professional, trust-building manner.

Technology Literacy: Proficient in using mobile apps and tablets for photo uploads, time tracking, and digital work order management.

Physical Stamina: Must be comfortable working at heights (ladders/roofs), in tight spaces, and in various weather conditions; must be able to lift 80+ lbs.

Safety & Mobility: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory. OSHA 10-hour certification is highly preferred.

Steep Slope Comfort: Must be comfortable climbing tall ladders and working on steep roofs (up to 12/12 pitch).

Application: To apply, please submit your complete and most recent resume. Bonus points: Include a brief 2-3 sentence note telling us about the trickiest roof leak, structural issue, or mitigation challenge you successfully diagnosed and fixed on your own.

Flexible work from home options available.
