Production Technician – Striping & Plate Coating

Location: Radford, VA

Pay: $14.50 – $15.50/hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM)

Job Overview:

We are hiring a Production Technician to support the manufacturing of medical diagnostic products. This role involves operating equipment, following strict procedures, and working in a clean, controlled lab environment, Applying biological materials to plates used in lab testing (plate coating), and applying precise lines of biological or chemical material onto a surface (striping).

Responsibilities:

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records (MBRs)

• Operate striping and plate coating equipment

• Mix reagents and prepare solutions per batch instructions

• Weigh chemicals accurately

• Perform routine cleaning of equipment and work areas

• Monitor machines and report any issues or defects

• Document production results and ensure proper labeling

• Assist in other production areas as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Previous manufacturing, lab, or machine operation experience preferred

• Basic computer skills (data entry/Microsoft Office)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict processes

• Mechanical aptitude is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods

Work Environment:

• Clean lab/manufacturing setting

• Low humidity environment

• PPE required (provided)
