Role: Production Test Technician
Location: San Diego, CA (in-office)
Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000 + stock options, 401k matching, and other benefits
Role Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on Production Test Technician to help bring our autonomous vehicles to life by configuring, testing, and validating onboard computer and electronics assemblies. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, test, and engineering, and plays a key part in making sure our vehicle hardware is reliable, repeatable, and ready for real-world deployment.
You'll prepare vehicle CPU boxes and other electronics for the field by flashing images and firmware, loading configuration files, running functional and acceptance tests, and documenting what you find along the way. You'll work closely with engineers to track down issues, capture clear diagnostics, and continuously improve our production and test processes as we scale.
