General Placement Service has been retained by an insurance carrier expanding throughout the Eastern U.S. They are seeking a Senior Underwriter to manage a retail agency network and develop a profitable Workers' Compensation book of business. Our client specializes in writing small and middle-market accounts.

In this role, you will:

• Develop relationships with agency partners throughout a territory
• Promote company products and service
• Determine policy premiums and terms within underwriting authority level
• Assess risk by reviewing loss history for complex submissions
• Maintain compliance with company and state guidelines

To be qualified, you should have:

• 3+ years of experience underwriting Worker’s Compensation insurance
• Existing retail agency relationships
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Industry designations preferred
