Job Summary: As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for assembling products, and ensuring quality standards are met. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.

• Assemble components and products in line with specifications and quality standards.

• Monitor production processes for efficiency and quality, adjusting as necessary.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment.

• Pack finished products for shipment, ensuring all items meet quality standards.

• The production schedule must be structured in a manner that maximizes production efficiencies with minimal downtime and still meets customer needs.

• Forklift Experience is a plus

• Reports to Finish Supervisor

• Previous experience with firearms safes is a plus

• Maintains good housekeeping in areas assigned

• Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

• Understands all safety devices and their operation. Notifies management if safety devices are malfunctioning or missing prior to operation

• Safely operates all lifting devices by manufacturing specifications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lifting- Up to 50 lbs.
• Standing-8 or more hours per day
• Body Positions- Squatting, bending, flexing and extending both arms
• Grasping- Both hands, up to 8 hours per day
• Sitting- Occasionally
• Pushing Effort
• Pulling

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Basic mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication.
• Ability to read tape measure

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Manufacturing facility - exposed to heat and cold
• Personal Protective Equipment is always required.
• Noise controlled environment.
• Activity level is high - continuous overhead crane and forklift movement
