About the Role:

Owl Cleaners in the North Hills of Pittsburgh is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Working Supervisor to lead our dry cleaning team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work side-by-side with your crew to deliver exceptional garment care and keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities:

Supervise and actively participate when needed in daily dry cleaning production operations

Inspect garments for stains, damage, and special care requirements before and after cleaning

Operate dry cleaning machines, pressing equipment, and finishing tools when needed

Train, coach, and support production staff to maintain quality and efficiency standards

Supervise and Coach approximately 10-15 people

Monitor workflow and overdues to ensure orders are completed accurately and delivered to customers

Enforce safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning solutions and chemicals

Communicate with other store staff regarding customer orders and special requests

Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) and interact with all departments.

Perform other area functions as necessary to fulfill the objectives of the company.

Demonstrate the ability to manage time, set priorities, document results and complete all company reporting requirements.

Adhere to conduct standards consistent with those of the company that reflect professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

Requirements:

Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry, or garment care production PREFERRED

Prior supervisory or team lead experience REQUIRED

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality REQUIRED

Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical production environment

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented positive attitude REQUIRED

Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management REQUIRED

Requires use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and scanners/copiers.

Tasks require standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing steps and or ladders.

Tasks require the use of hands and arms, reaching and repetitive motion.

Must be able to work extended hours and a flexible schedule on short notice in a 5 day operation.

Must pass a drug screen, physical and functional capacity test as required by the company.

Must pass a criminal background check.
