    Position Details

    Job Type: Part-Time

    Schedule: 3 to 4 days per week (Must be available to work weekends and some holidays as needed)

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform professional body piercings utilizing standard industry techniques while ensuring maximum safety and precision.

    Consult with clients on piercing placement, jewelry selection, and thoroughly explain aftercare instructions.

    Maintain a pristine, sanitary workstation at all times in compliance with local health department regulations.

    Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including the autoclave, ensuring all tools are properly processed and logged.

    Provide exceptional, empathetic, and patient customer service to ensure a comfortable and anxiety-free experience for every client.

    Assist with retail jewelry sales, inventory management, and general studio upkeep.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional body piercing experience in a licensed studio. (A portfolio of your recent work is required).

    Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of anatomy, aseptic techniques, and cross-contamination prevention. Proven experience properly operating and monitoring autoclave sterilization equipment.

    Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must possess outstanding patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude when dealing with nervous clients or complex questions.

    Certifications: Must hold (or be willing to obtain/renew immediately) Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) certification, First Aid/CPR, and any local county health department permits.
