About the Role:

Join our dedicated team at Senior Care At Home Edmond as a Professional Caregiver with Dementia Experience. This rewarding position allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in our community while providing compassionate care and support.

Responsibilities:

Provide personalized care and assistance to clients with dementia.

Assist with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, and meal preparation.

Monitor and document changes in client behavior and health status.

Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance cognitive function.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.

Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.

Requirements:

Experience as a caregiver, preferably with dementia patients.

Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Background check and references required.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
