We’re looking for a Professional Dog Trainer to join our busy and growing team at our blended-method dog training, boarding, and daycare facility in Melbourne, FL.

🔹 About Us:

We’re a fast-paced, team-oriented facility that provides a range of services including private lessons, day training (drop-off), daycare training, and board & train programs. Our training approach is blended, meaning we use a variety of methods tailored to each dog’s individual needs—always with compassion, care, and professionalism.

🔹 What You’ll Do:

Conduct private training sessions and group classes

Train dogs in our day-train and board & train programs

Evaluate dogs and create personalized training plans

Communicate clearly with clients and provide follow-up guidance

Collaborate with the training, boarding, and daycare teams

Work weekends and holidays as scheduled

Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for dogs and clients

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

1+ year of professional dog training experience

Friendly, professional, and confident when working with both people and pets

Must LOVE dogs and have a compassionate, patient approach to training

Strong communication and customer service skills

Team player who thrives in a busy, supportive environment

Comfortable with a variety of training methods (blended/ balanced approach)

Reliable, responsible, and eager to grow in your role

🔹 Preferred but Not Required:

CPDT-KA, KPA, ABCDT, or other certifications

Experience with reactive, anxious, or high-energy dogs

Experience in a daycare, kennel, or boarding setting
