Job Description
• General troubleshooting experience and ability to respond to production issues (equipment or process)
• Ability to work with Manufacturing Engineers to design and implement robust processes for early-stage manufacturing
• Ability to train operators train and communicate w/ operators effectively.
• Ability to set up and understand different types of semi-automated assembly equipment
Preferred Equipment Experience
• Mechanical experience w/ leveling, squaring, installing changeover tooling for operators. Ability to design fixtures in SolidWorks a plus but not required.
• Electrical experience w/ plc-based panel assembly, setting up thermal controllers, wiring/tuning sensors.
• Process Knowledge of different types of plastic joining/assembly (heat staking, laser/ultrasonic/induction welding) a plus but not required.
Preferred Production Experience
• Function as first line of defense for R&D/Production build issues.
• Strong focus on Safety/Quality/Throughput and knowledge of production equipment standards.
• Knowledge of Medical Device GMP’s a plus.
Requirements
• 2 years+ technical experience in a similar role.
• Some technical education strongly desired.
• Work 1st shift (8am – 4pm) and willingness to work OT occasionally when required.
