Overview

We are seeking strong and reliable Mover Drivers to become a part of the Let’s Get Moving Austin professional moving/packing team. Looking for experienced mover drivers, part time and full-time opportunities available. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving services while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills (26-foot truck), experience in moving, and the ability to handle heavy lifting.

What you need:

Valid driver license required and good driving record (commercial driving license preferred but not required)

Strong truck driving skills and experience driving at least a 26-foot long truck

Previous experience in residential or commercial moving.

The ability to lift 75+ pounds, bend, squat, crouch, kneel and climb stairs consistently throughout the day

Must be a resident of Texas with NO criminal record or convictions

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

Positive and collaborative attitude, commitment to teamwork is essential for success in this role

Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively

What you will do:

Safely operate a 26-foot box truck or similar vehicle to transport items to various locations, and complete trip inspections.

Pack and unpack items as needed during the moving process

Basic furniture assembly and disassembly

Wrap furniture and items in protective material

Load, unload and move products, furniture and materials efficiently by hand or using basic material handling equipment, ensuring that all goods are handled with care.

Demonstrate exceptional customer service and professionalism when interacting with clients and their property

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job

Assist with other tasks on the job site as required
