Responsibilities: • Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces • Talk with clients to understand their needs and help them make the best decision • Build scaffolding when needed • Clean up work area once project is finished • Match and mix paint to job specifications • Surface Preparation : Clean, sand, and prep surfaces for painting by removing old paint, rust, or debris and applying primers or sealers. • Painting : Apply paints, coatings, and finishes to interior and exterior walls, ceilings, floors, and other structures using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. • Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while working with paints, solvents, and other chemicals. Use safety equipment such as masks, gloves, and goggles. • Equipment Management : Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment to ensure proper function and longevity. • Team Collaboration : Work with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Assist with the coordination of tasks on large projects. • Timely Completion : Complete projects according to deadlines, managing time effectively and ensuring all work meets quality standards. Qualifications: • Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity • Experience with painting tools and techniques is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates • Valid driver’s license required • A high school diploma or GED is preferred • Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
