PROFESSIONAL PLUMBING GROUP (PPG) IS LOOKING TO HIRE AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK TO JOIN OUR FINANCE TEAM!

The ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK plays a crucial role in our business and is important part of our finance team. This is a hybrid position with our office based in Glen Mills, PA. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Prepare and post vendor invoices in timely manner according to internal processes
• Complete the accounts payable process in accordance with established system of policies and procedures
• Resolve accounts payable issues with vendors
• Monitor the accounts payable inbox for invoice submissions and vendor inquiries
• Proactively coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure invoice accuracy prior to processing
• Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from internal departments and vendors
• Work to support other accounting tasks required by the organization, such as, but not limited to, account reconciliations and month-end accruals

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of AP experience in a high volume, fast paced organization
• High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
• Detail oriented, self-starter is a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Microsoft Dynamics experience is a strong plus
