     Medical Center in Salem, North Carolina is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team in Winston-Salem, NC. This is a 13-week travel/contract position with the potential for extension based on performance. The Cath Lab Tech will play a key role in assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, PE treatment, and providing support for various structural cases, including PFO, ASD, TAVR, Watchman, among others. The primary responsibilities will involve scrubbing and circulating during procedures, and as proficiency is demonstrated, monitoring/documentation tasks will be added.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Scrubbing and circulating during cardiac catheterization procedures, PE treatment, and structural cases.
    • Assisting with the support of devices such as Impella, ECMO, and IABP.
    • Monitoring and documenting patient data during procedures, once the scrubbing and circulating roles are fulfilled.
    • Working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
    • One late shift per week and one day of call with call rotation every 5th weekend.
    • Occasional additional days may be required, which will be communicated in advance for assistance sign-ups.
    • Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth coverage during holidays, with a shared approach to managing time off.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid Cath Lab Tech certification or relevant credentials.
    • Demonstrated experience in scrubbing and circulating during cardiac catheterization procedures.
    • Proficient in providing support for devices like Impella, ECMO, and IABP.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Flexibility to participate in the call rotation as required.

    Note: The overtime (OT) policy allows for a maximum of 40 total hours in one week, with overtime pay at a rate of 1.5% for additional hours worked beyond the standard schedule.
