Professional Response Agency is currently hiring RN to work in Home Health in Alaska.
Duties: - Provide direct patient care in a home health setting - Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Monitor and document patient progress and response to interventions - Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques - Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources - Perform specimen collection processing, including blood draws and urine samples - Provide specialized care such as ostomy care, airway management, and dermal fillers - Assist with infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring developmental milestones - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a home health or similar setting - Proficient in electronic medical record systems, such as Athenahealth - Strong clinical skills including proficiency in coding, spinal tap procedures, and infection control protocols - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
