    FIELD SAFETY ADVISOR | DRONE SAFETY

    DESCRIPTION 

    We are looking for Field Safety Advisors with experience in utility drone (UAS) operations. 

    OUR EXPECTATIONS:

    Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role: where the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels. In addition, along with management, the Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe are expected to be a hands-on partner in delivering various safety initiatives and programs specifically to develop an excellent safety culture.

    HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO AS PART OF OUR TEAM:

    • Perform field safety assessments of contracted Pilot/QEW teams and report the findings to Safety Team members.
    • Prepare daily inspection reports.
    • If deviations from safety or compliance requirements are observed, advise and demonstrate correct actions to field personnel.
    • Use approved standard guidelines and checklists to observe and record unsafe actions, as well as corrective actions.
    • Assist with evaluating and vetting pilots working on the Program.
    • Conduct field investigations and initial response to safety events (e.g., accidents, incidents, or near-misses).
    • Assist with post-event investigative report writing.

    THE PERFECT CANDIDATE WILL:  

    • Have a Commercial Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) or Part 61 Certified Private Pilot.
    • Have UAV safety experience with the ability to evaluate aviation and ground operations of RPIC.
    • Have a thorough knowledge of Aircraft Mishap Investigation Techniques, Human Factors in Aviation, Risk Management, Aviation Safety Program Management, Crew Resource Management, or the responsibilities of an Aviation Safety Officer.
    • Understand the operational factors to identify hazards and create immediate solutions using situational awareness for flight crews, Company security, and other field personnel.
    • Have good customer service and conflict resolution skills.
    • Be a meticulous and independent operator with the ability to self-evaluate.
    • Be able to hike short distances in mild terrain.
    • Have a good driving record and be comfortable maneuvering half-ton sized trucks in tight and or unpaved roads, in all-weather conditions.
    • Have your First Aid/CPR certification.
