    What you’ll do

    SUMMARY:
    The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining computer networks and solving any problems that may occur with them.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    \- Ability to diagnose, solve, and deliver root cause analysis of network issues.
    \- Provide support of the Network Infrastructure by ensuring the stable operations of the environment.
    \- Complete onboarding/offboarding Microsoft Teams Voice, Network port activations, and lower-level troubleshooting tickets.
    \- Provide effective communications to Network Engineers and/or Managers on projects, tickets, escalations.
    \- Assist Network Engineers/Architects in implementing/deploying network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points.
    \- Review and provide feedback related to purchase and installation of hardware, software, and support.
    \- Participate in network design and improvements.
    \- Conduct maintenance, as needed, on various network equipment.
    \- Document network issues, processes, diagrams for future reference.

    Qualifiications:

    \- Associates degree required (Bachelor’s degree preferred) or 3 years related experience.
    \- CompTIA Net+, CCNA, Cisco Academy, or other IT related certifications.
    \- Proven customer service skills.
    \- Capable of comprehensive listening (understanding the message(s) that is being communicated.
    \- Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
    \- Experience with performing basic tasks in Active Directory Environment and Exchange/Office 365 is a plus.

    Experience with:
    \- Network structure, security, and function (Cisco/Meraki.)
    \- Network printer function and the ability to troubleshoot printing problems from a networking standpoint.
    \- Knowledge of various IEEE Standards, such as 802.3 and 802.11.
    \- Common office automation applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, including Outlook, etc.)
    \- VoIP phone functions and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
    \- Cell phones, smart phones, and tablets.
    \- Operating systems (Windows 7/10 and Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019.)

    Ability to:
    \- Triage network cases and discern when to escalate.
    \- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    \- Train users of all levels to be proficient using computer-based applications.
    \- Develop a thorough understanding of company’s IST products and services.
    \- Great attention to detail.
    \- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational problem-solving and analytical, and interpersonal skills.
