PROFESSIONAL SEARCH GROUP (PSG) is seeking a CONTROLLER to well-established and growing technology business. The company provides world-class support and services delivering innovative and easy to use software to help other organizations work better. 

CONTROLLER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• CONTROLLER who thrives in an evolving and challenging work environment to join our team.
• Planning, directing, coordinating all accounting functions.
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results. Ensure reconciliations of all general ledger accounts with no unexpected reconciling items.
• Preparing and validating internal and external financial statements. Ensure the integrity of all financial statements and information.
• Coordinating activities of external auditors; ensuring that documentation is ready for audit and liaising with auditors to gain a complete understanding of our books, records, and control environment.
• Execute the budget and financial reporting systems/processes to provide timely support in preparing annual budgets, multi-year business plans, monthly forecasts, and actuals for the business.
• Focus on timely month-end results/reporting with a keen eye on strategic planning to ensure the business is growing profitability.
• Accountable for ensuring balance sheet integrity, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and fostering a solid control environment in the facility.

CONTROLLER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA advanced degree highly desirable.
• 5+ years of relevant Controller experience is required.
• Prior experience in public accounting is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with Revenue Recognition is required
• Solid hands-on expertise in full-cycle GAAP
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
