    Job Description

    We are looking for a Scrum Master to help our scrum teams reach peak productivity by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, assisting the Product Owner by maintaining a healthy and actionable backlog, identifying and resolving roadblocks, tracking progress, and identifying and acting on opportunities for continuous improvement. You also play a critical role in the adoption of Scrum and other agile development practices by the organization and being able to evangelize best practices and collaborate with other team members as to the methodology. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Product Owner in scheduling, project planning, and reporting to stakeholders. This could entail requirements gathering, running project-related meetings, and unblocking workstreams contributing to delivery.

    A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist the team in tracking and communicating team progress and metrics
    • Manage schedules for deliveries and report on timing and status
    • Identify and remove any impediments/distractions that interfere with the team’s ability to deliver against their commitments
    • Challenge and enable the team to continuously improve through intentional and data-driven inspect and adapt cycles (retrospectives)
    • Coach and mentor others on Agile related topics
    • Lead multiple Agile teams and drive Agile transformation across the enterprise
    • Promote and demonstrate core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
    • Support and empower the team to make appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition
    • Empower the team to self-organize around achieving their commitments and strive for continuous improvement
    • Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practices where appropriate
    • Ensure the team is tracking and communicating team progress and metrics to the appropriate resources
    • Ensure that Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to and applied

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED

    • Hold a Certified Scrum Master (CSM or ACP) certification
    • Multiple years as a scrum master working in technology Agile teams and an understanding of basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
    • Multiple years working in a digital environment
    • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and enabling teams through coaching and being a master of your craft
    • Experience successfully delivering solutions on an aggressive schedule
    • Experience working in a multi-team and/or matrixed environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and partner with clients and stakeholders
    • High tolerance for ambiguity in rapidly changing client environments
    • Time management and organization skills
