Youth Worker - Monitored Home Detention
JOB TYPE: Part-time
SALARY: $16.00 / hour
JOB DESCRIPTION
This part-time position monitors compliance of youth detained in their own homes or other non-secure living arrangements, who are referred by the court or DCFS/Juvenile Intake Services. MHD services are provided to divert youth who are involved in the court system from committing further offenses. This position also requires monitoring of youth placed on the Electronic Leg Monitor.
The hours of this position are Friday, Saturday and Sunday up to 12 hour a week
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related field. A valid driver's license, proof of valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation are required. A background check and drug test are also required prior to offer of employment.
