JOB TYPE: Part-time (15 hours per week)

SALARY: $15.00 / hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for maintaining the parent-child relationship and other family attachments and to reduce the sense of abandonment children experience at placement. This program focuses on enhancing the parent's ability to adequately and appropriately care for and relate to the child, helping the parent(s) to develop appropriate parenting behaviors, and identify and resolve problems before the child return home.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or other related field. A valid driver's license, proof of valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation are required. A background check and drug test are also required prior to offer of employment
