Customer Service Administrator
Reports To: Customer Service Manager
Department: Customer Service
Summary
This important position interfaces with all departments in our organization as well as our customer base. As a customer service representative, you work together with the sales and customer service department in daily communication with customers and detailed administrative work.
Responsibilities:
Administrative and clerical support to the customer service & sales team
Provides accurate, valid and complete information through using the right methods/tools
Responsible for all quality documents requests, spec sheets and revision ship dates
Processing orders, assisting customers, and supporting the outside sales team
Daily invoice processing, scanning and indexing
Assisting other departments to meet customer commitments
Assisting management with projects as needed
Receptionist back up (including kitchen responsibilities) & coverage for other customer service members
Skills, Experience, & Qualifications:
Minimum one-year manufacturing customer service or similar experience
High school diploma or GED
Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work including proofreading
Ability to toggle between requests with speed and accuracy
Strong customer service orientation with positive attitude and good follow through
Ability to fit in as a part of a fast-paced and high performing team
Experience with MS Excel and Word
