Description: Industrial Janitor - Maintenance Department

Shift: Days (5AM– 5PM) Full Time Schedule

Type: Full-Time, consistent schedule on a rotating basis

A little bit about the job:

Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

Gather and empty trash.

Service, clean, and supply restrooms.

Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.

Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.

Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.

If you meet the following qualifications, please apply!

HS diploma or equivalent

Able to lift up to 30 lbs

Able to climb ladders/fall-protection that may be required for cleaning equipment

Must have reliable transportation

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Excellent attendance record

Flexible schedule for on-call/overtime work
