    Due to the expansion of our facilities, we have an additional opening for an Industrial Maintenance Technician on 2nd or 3rd shift - your choice. You will work in a new, top of the line manufacturing facility with a supportive company culture alongside employees who are deeply committed to our company, our clients and to each other. This is a direct hire, full time position. We are offering a competitive starting salary with signing bonus.     *This position would train for 3 months on day shift (5am-5pm) and then become a 12 hour (5pm-5am) night shift position. Alternating week days and every other weekend required.

    Responsibilities:

    Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical processes of the equipment and facilities Safely perform preventative and predictive maintenance of process equipment throughout the plant Safely and effectively use a variety of hand tools, power tools, electronic meters, and material handling equipment Safely operate simple machinist equipment: drill press, knee and surface grinders. Build fabrications as required for process improvements Communicate daily pass down information and plant status in verbal and written form Support lean manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, 5-S and waste elimination programs Perform minor plumbing, building repair, and maintenance Safely operate forklift, scissor lift, and other lift equipment when required for maintenance activities Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company health and safety standards

    Qualifications: Excellent electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and troubleshooting skillsExperience with preventive and predictive maintenance routines and practices Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings Strong analytic and problem-solving skills Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word Effective verbal and written communication skills Proven history of dependability and success from past employment Must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work Must be self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic Ability to work well with others and to be a supportive team member Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs or ladders on a regular basis Ability to lift 20-50 lbs as needed High School diploma or GED and minimum two years relevant experience in a manufacturing setting Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
