Prognos is looking for a Client Principal (specializing in HEOR and RWE) with experience and understanding of Real World Data and analytics leveraged by pharmaceutical manufacturers in health economics and real world evidence.
The Client Principal will support client conversations and provide valuable input into the commercial development of Prognos products for a variety of therapeutic conditions. This role requires interactions with business development colleagues and other internal stakeholders on sales opportunities and in the execution of those sold engagements. The Client Principal will be an experienced health care research professional in clinical outcomes, quality of care, and population health. The role will provide oversight & vision for application of Prognos claims and EHR databases and applications in retrospective research and prospective clinical programs to generate real world evidence for healthcare delivery and clinical outcomes research.
KEY SKILLS
- Partnership - extensive experience working with pharmaceutical clients and providing guidance on appropriate data selection and analytic application
- Closed Claims knowledge - understanding of closed claims datasets, benefits and limitations
- Clinically oriented - experience working across multiple therapeutic areas. Understanding of treatment paradigms and drugs in development
- Deep data experience - can get into the data and do high level investigation; understands the 'so-what'; can provide guidance on analyses needed to address client needs/questions
- Collaborative, team oriented -- able to work cross-functionally with a variety of different people - BD, Product Marketing, Data Science, Engineering. Can gain alignment with people with different strengths & development areas
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 15 years in a healthcare space consultative role
- Skilled and experienced with healthcare data sets (open and closed medical claims, EHR) and their applications to life sciences HEOR/RWD use cases
- Clinically oriented: experience working across multiple therapeutic areas. Understands treatment paradigms. Knows about marketed drugs / drugs in development / lines of therapy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to support Sales efforts (75%) and inform product roadmaps (25%)
