Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Associate to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our programs. This part-time position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day program operations and activity coordination
Plan and execute events, workshops, and activities
Maintain program schedules, timelines, and participant databases
Coordinate logistics for program activities including venues, materials, and supplies
Maintain accurate program records and documentation
Prepare reports, presentations, and program materials
Track program metrics and assist with data collection for evaluation purposes
Respond to program inquiries via email and phone
Communicate with program participants, volunteers, and community partners
Support outreach efforts and help build relationships with stakeholders
Represent the organization at community events as needed
Demonstrate the impact of CLHI's work through community listening sessions, creative writing, and visual media including photos or videos; develop for CLHI's website, social media and e-newsletter.
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
1+ years of experience in nonprofit, program coordination, or related work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with/in urban communities
Commitment to the organization's mission and values
Preferred
Ability to communicate in Spanish
Knowledge of program evaluation methods
Familiarity with database management systems
Schedule & Compensation
Hours: 20-30 hours per week (flexible schedule with some evening/weekend work as needed)
Rate: $20-25/per hours
