    Position Summary

    The Program Associate will support the development and preservation of housing.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Track and document progress toward achieving designated objectives; manage and/or perform work associated with housing projects/programs, including coordinating with community partners, contractors, staff, and/or volunteers

    · Communicate areas of concern or interest to the Executive Director and take a lead role in troubleshooting, critical thinking and problem solving; conduct recordkeeping, budget management and other administrative tasks for projects

    · Lead marketing activities in collaboration with housing development team.

    Identify and liase with contractors/vendors for housing construction and rehabilitation services.

    · Coordinate intake and determination of qualified applicants for housing rehabilitation programs

    · Prepare and submit invoices as necessary

    Monitor and summarize planning and zoning board activity relevant to North Camden.

    · Research and assist in funding proposal development; collect program implementation and impact data; and assist with grant reports

    · Develop content to be shared through CLHI's website, social media, e-newsletter.

    · Manage filing of physical and electronic documentation

    · Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

    Other tasks as determined by the Executive Director

    Qualifications

    Required

    Bachelor's degree in a related field

    3+ years of experience in nonprofit housing or community development

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Experience working with/in urban communities

    Commitment to the organization's mission and values

    Ability to communicate in Spanish
