  • Responsibilities

    COLSA is seeking a detail-oriented Program Control Analyst to support financial planning, execution, and reporting for contracts managed out of our Dayton, Ohio office.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs program set-up, planning and control
    • Participates in budget preparation and monitoring of expenses
    • Participates in preparing estimates and cost proposals
    • Prepares contract work authorizations
    • Performs cost and schedule variance analysis and provides resulting recommendations
    • Prepares manpower and non-labor forecasts and assists in resource planning
    • Prepares or assists with preparation of cost-to-complete

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 3 years related experience in budgeting, financial analysis, program control, or related field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
    • Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and variances
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance may be required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Understanding of government contract funding and financial management processes
    • Experience supporting DoD or federal government contracts
    • Experience with contract types such as Cost-Plus, T&M, and Firm Fixed Price
    • Experience supporting Program Managers directly
    • Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher)
