    Position Overview

    The Program Coordinator provides essential support to the Dean or Chief Academic Officer in coordinating the development and maintenance of ACHS academic programs. This role manages curriculum planning projects, regulatory and accreditation submissions, and program review documentation to ensure compliance, quality, and timely completion of deliverables.

    The coordinator serves as a central point of communication among faculty, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and academic leadership, ensuring alignment across all program initiatives. The position also maintains accurate records of academic approvals, manages editorial calendars for assigned textbooks, and supports institutional effectiveness processes.

    This is a half-time contractor role with the potential to transition to full-time based on institutional needs and performance.

    The Work You’ll Do in this Role

    • Support the Dean or Chief Academic Officer with the end-to-end coordination of new academic program development and curriculum updates.
    • Project manage curriculum planning and implementation timelines, ensuring on-time completion of all deliverables.
    • Coordinate communication and deliverables from subject matter experts (SMEs), faculty, instructional designers, and academic leadership.
    • Complete and submit regulatory and accreditation applications related to new or modified programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely approval.
    • Track and maintain records of academic approvals, including faculty and curriculum committee actions.
    • Manage documentation and administrative components of academic program reviews, including analysis and implementation of end-of-course action plans.
    • Maintain up-to-date status tracking of program revisions, reviews, and reporting requirements.
    • Manage the editorial calendar for ACHS textbooks assigned to the department, coordinating updates, revisions, and approvals with faculty and instructional staff.
    • Provide administrative and logistical support for academic planning meetings and institutional effectiveness processes.

    • 3+ years of experience in curriculum planning, academic administration, or educational compliance (preferred).
    • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in higher education.
    • Hours are flexible and will generally be 20 hours per week; some availability for meetings between 8:30-4:30 Pacific time is preferred. Must be based in the U.S.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a remote or on-site academic office environment. Work involves collaboration with faculty, academic leadership, and staff using standard office equipment including computers, email, project management software, and digital collaboration platforms.
