Job Description
SUMMARY
We are looking for a Program Coordinator to join our technical training delivery and recruiting team for an automotive Apprentice Technician program. This role performs activities in training program administration and helps ensure student success. This role serves as a primary support layer for training delivery operations and provides direct support to the Program Manager by triaging issues, escalating appropriately, and ensuring reliable follow-through.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Administration including but not limited to:
· Optimize and manage class scheduling
· Housing coordination for students
· Candidate tracking and initial screening
· Retailer tracking and initial screening
· Apprentice tracking and progress reporting
· Expense administration
· Team scheduling
· Develop and assist with program reporting
· Point of contact for learning and recruiting portals
· Assist with configuration and administration of learning and recruiting portals
· Assist with multiple project components simultaneously and according to deadlines.
· Assist with all aspects of student success throughout the apprentice program, i.e., standards of excellence and student performance, progress monitoring, housing/accommodations, mentoring and coaching.
· Assist in all aspects of project delivery, including budget management, timelines, customer invoicing, quality of deliverables, and customer satisfaction.
· Assist in implementation and execution of recruiting and retention plans.
· Serve as the day-to-day support layer for training delivery, supporting trainers and apprentices and ensuring a smooth cohort experience.
· Absorb, triage, and resolve issues proactively; escalate to the Program Manager with context, impact, and recommended next steps.
· Provide direct operational and administrative support to the Program Manager, including proactive risk identification, stakeholder follow-up, and closing communication loops.
