Position Overview The Program Director plays a crucial leadership role in ensuring the success of Gracious Home Adult Day Health Care Center, LLC. This position is responsible for the overall administration, supervision, and development of the ADHC program, ensuring high-quality care for participants while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate has strong managerial experience, a passion for adult care services, and the ability to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and enhance program offerings to improve the well-being of participants.
Qualifications General Requirements: • At least 21 years of age • Physician-certified (within 45 days of employment) to be in good health and free from communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (per CDC guidelines) Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree required (Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Nursing, or related field preferred) • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in a licensed healthcare facility • Experience in adult day health care (ADHC) strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities Program Administration & Leadership • Oversee and direct all aspects of the ADHC program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations • Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures tailored to member needs and industry best practices • Ensure efficient daily operations, including member care coordination and activity planning • Act as a liaison between the governing authority, staff, members, and families Staff Management & Training • Supervise, evaluate, and manage all staff, ensuring optimal performance and professional growth • Hire, train, and retain qualified personnel, including direct care staff and consultants • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to promote continuous education and development • Maintain proper staffing ratios (minimum 1:6) based on daily census and member care needs Member Care & Program Development • Coordinate, integrate, and oversee member care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers, families, and caregivers • Ensure the creation and execution of individualized care plans tailored to participant needs • Develop and implement engaging social, physical, and cognitive programs to enhance member well-being Safety & Compliance • Oversee facility safety, risk management, and emergency response procedures • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local ADHC regulations • Maintain accurate medical records, admission/discharge documentation, and statistical reports Fiscal & Marketing Responsibilities • Manage fiscal operations, including budget planning, fee schedules, and financial reporting • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote program growth and community engagement • Establish collaborative relationships with external partners to enhance services and outreach
