Program Director – Community-Based Adult Services (CBAS) Orange County, CA Full-Time, Exempt Starting at $100,000/year 100% in-person

A legacy organization with deep community roots is seeking a transformational Program Director to lead our Community-Based Adult Services (CBAS) program into its next chapter of impact. About the Role

The Program Director – CBAS plays a critical leadership role in delivering high-quality Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) services. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for the overall development, implementation, coordination, and management of the program, with a strong emphasis on participant-centered care, regulatory compliance, and inspiring servant leadership.

What You’ll Do

Program & People Leadership: •Direct all aspects of the CBAS program: nursing, therapy, social services, activities, nutrition, transportation, and billing •Lead a multidisciplinary team with empathy, encouragement, and a “lead-by-example” mindset •Supervise staff, contractors, and volunteers while promoting a culture of support and accountability •Coordinate and approve participant care plans (IPCs) and maintain accurate health records

Compliance & Quality Oversight: •Ensure compliance with state and federal ADHC/CBAS regulations •Maintain census levels and monitor program finances to meet operational goals •Submit timely reports to licensing and regulatory agencies •Manage partnerships with health plans and vendors for credentialing and standards

What You Bring: •Master’s degree in rehabilitation, social science, or related field (required) •LCSW or equivalent licensure (highly desirable) •5+ years of leadership experience in senior services or a related setting •Knowledge of CBAS/ADHC regulations and strong budgeting/oversight experience •CPR/First Aid (within 6 months of hire), TB clearance, and background check required •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
