    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Program Director to join our team! As the Program Director, you will oversee the daily operations and activities of our IRTS program including supervising all program activities within the facility and working closely with other members of the team to ensure everyone is compliant with state and federal regulations. You will also handle hiring, training and staff scheduling. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrable experience in management, and a familiarity with federal and state regulations when it comes to DHS licensed programs and social services. SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

    1. Demonstration of the administrative director's knowledge must be documented in the personnel record.
    2. Program director reports directly to the Clinical Director.
    3. Adheres to the facility’s philosophy.
    4. Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities.
    5. Functions as leader of Clinical Staff Meetings.
    6. Responsible for the delivery of treatment services.
    7. Develops and implements treatment programs, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
    8. Develop and implement treatment programs that are evidence-based and culturally responsive
    9. Implements plans for performance improvement.
    10. Evaluates quality of program on an ongoing basis.
    11. Develops cost-effective methods to provide service.
    12. Supervise clinical staff and provide them with the support and resources they need to be successful.
    13. Facilitates communication with ancillary services.
    14. Recruits and interviews new employees.
    15. Attends clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally.
    16. Meets with clinical staff weekly.
    17. Supervises students completing a field placement.
    18. Builds positive relationships with staff and physicians.
    19. Works collaboratively with the Treatment Director and Clinical Director.
    20. Demonstrates knowledge of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
    21. Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to communicate these procedures clearly and accurately.
    22. Displays ability to direct and supervise Program activities.
    23. Oversees the admission and/or patient intake process.
    24. Maintains an effective and efficient daily staffing pattern within budgetary constraints.
    25. Ensures clinical staff meets educational/licensure requirements.
    26. Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards, on a timely basis.
    27. Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
    28. Follows Infection Control guidelines at all times.
    29. Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
    30. Assists in formulating standards for patient care.
    31. Performs other tasks, as assigned.
