    Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for education and leadership? Join our team in beautiful Concord, California, as the Program Director for our Vocational Nursing Program and take on a rewarding role where your clinical expertise and educational experience can shape the next generation of nurses.

    Key Responsibilities

    As Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of the Vocational Nursing Program. Your leadership will ensure academic excellence and regulatory compliance.

    • Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with state regulations and industry standards

    • Provide leadership and mentorship to faculty and staff

    • Monitor student performance and implement strategies for student success

    • Manage program accreditation and maintain compliance with state and national guidelines

    • Facilitate staff hiring, training, and evaluations

    • Maintain active partnerships with clinical sites for student placements

    • Lead program improvement initiatives based on student and employer feedback

    Qualifications

    To thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid blend of clinical experience and academic leadership:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) license – active and in good standing (California preferred)

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an RN, including:

      • At least 1 year of teaching or clinical supervision in an approved nursing program

      • Or 3 years of experience in nursing administration or education within the last 5 years

    • Strong understanding of vocational nursing curriculum and program accreditation requirements

    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

    • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred (but not always required depending on state guidelines)
