Our client, an Aerospace & Defense company, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to manage customer programs and contracts from planning through delivery in Spartanburg, SC.

This position serves as a key point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring programs remain on schedule, properly resourced, and aligned with contractual requirements. The Program Manager will also lead the bids and proposals process and provide regular program updates to key customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer programs and contracts to ensure contractual requirements and delivery timelines are met
• Develop, evaluate, and monitor program schedules
• Coordinate resources and priorities across internal teams
• Lead the bids and proposals process, ensuring accurate and timely proposal submissions
• Work closely with Engineering to establish program priorities
• Track program schedules, deliverables, and associated costs
• Prepare and distribute accurate program status reports
• Communicate directly with key customers regarding program status on a regular basis
• Coordinate input from internal teams and present program updates to customers
• Take ownership of overall program schedules and commitments
• Travel as needed to support customers and programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4–6 years of relevant experience
• Program or project management experience within a technical or manufacturing environment
• Aerospace & Defense industry experience preferred
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Experience managing multiple programs, schedules, priorities, and deadlines
• High level of attention to detail and accountability
• Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Teams, Project Planner, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Willingness to travel as required
