This remote, full-time role involves coordinating with the Program Director and members of the Company to develop and execute initiatives that enhance reliability, optimize asset performance, and align with organizational goals. The Program Manager will engage subject matter experts, facilitate projects and peer reviews, and communicate best practices and program outcomes to diverse stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring at least ten years of experience in the electric power industry—particularly in transmission system design, maintenance, or asset management—along with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; advanced degrees or knowledge of ISO 55000 and NERC standards are preferred. • Organize and facilitate projects to develop technical and process guidance supporting member processes in the assigned area.
    • Interact with member leadership, the CEO, staff, and others to support organizational objectives, identify emerging issues, and adjust activities accordingly.
    • Communicate program area initiatives and achievements to different audiences.
    • Lead and/or participate in selected peer reviews and assistance activities.
    • Identify and scope discrete technical and process assistance activities.
    • Coordinate with knowledge management functions (metrics, operating experience, and surveys) to collect and analyze performance data and operating experience.
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer to practice groups through surveys, discussions, and benchmarking.
    • Follow corporate policies and procedures.
    • Model professional behaviors, including accountability, to achieve continued reliability improvements.
    • Develop and deliver selected training to staff and members.
    • Provide input on the strategic direction of the organization.

    • Support the CEO in developing corporate policy, processes, and other documents.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Be an influential leader—staff are not directive, but their influence helps members advance.
    • Demonstrate that excellence starts at home—staff must “walk the talk” to help members excel.
    • Stay focused on the mission and vision, prioritizing actions accordingly.
    • Be personally accountable—honor commitments, be resourceful, and offer solutions.
    • Be a good teammate—place team performance above self.
    • Treat each member employee as a highly valued customer.
    • Remain aware of assigned members’ engagement and issues affecting their organizations.
    • Help overcome barriers to engagement and escalate issues as needed.
    • This position requires 10–20% travel.

    Education and Experience:

    • Ten years of experience in the electric power industry or a similar industrial application.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
    • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in electric transmission system design, equipment maintenance, and/or asset management, or similar industrial experience.
    • Knowledge of software tools used to manage transmission system equipment maintenance and asset data.
    • Understanding of NERC standards.
    • Knowledge of common asset management standards and practices, such as ISO 55000.
    • Experience in electric transmission system protection and control.
