Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Mental Health Skill Building (MHSB) and Intensive In-Home (IIH) programs. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with strong clinical knowledge, administrative skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide clinical and administrative oversight for MHSB and IIH programs
• Ensure compliance with DMAS, DBHDS, and Medicaid regulations
• Supervise and support QMHP-A, QMHP-C, and other direct service staff
• Conduct regular audits of client records, service documentation, and progress notes
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff
• Develop and implement individualized service plans (ISPs) and treatment goals
• Collaborate with referral sources, case managers, families, and other providers
• Manage client caseloads and ensure timely service delivery and billing compliance
• Monitor program outcomes, prepare reports, and contribute to program improvement initiatives
• Participate in crisis management and provide clinical guidance when needed
• Represent the agency at stakeholder meetings and community outreach events
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or related human services field (master’s preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in community-based behavioral health programs
• Licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMHP) preferred but not required
• Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-A) as defined by the Virginia Board of Counseling
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations and best practices for MHSB and IIH services
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
