About the Role
As our Program Manager, you’ll be the friendly force that keeps our programs running smoothly and our volunteers, educators, and partners feeling supported. Think of yourself as the ultimate connector: part relationship‑builder, part logistics wizard, part cheerleader for our mission. Every day looks a little different — and that’s exactly what makes it fun.
What You’ll Do
Keep program quality high by communicating clearly, visiting classrooms, sharing updates, and using evaluation tools
Grow and strengthen our volunteer and partner community
Lead creative recruitment and retention strategies that bring in great volunteers and keep them coming back
Manage the behind‑the‑scenes magic that makes our programs run (scheduling, logistics, delivery models, you name it)
Host in‑person or virtual trainings that leave volunteers feeling confident and excited
Keep our database organized and up‑to‑date
Gather stories, data, and insights to help in meetings, grants, and reports
Deliver top‑tier customer service to everyone who interacts with our programs

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, project management, volunteer coordination, sales, or development
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Organized, detail‑oriented, and motivated
Comfortable working with diverse groups
Excellent communication skills
Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities
Preferred
Experience in nonprofit program management
Familiarity with the K–12 education world
