Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated experience leading project timelines involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and executing with a high level of quality
- Experience organizing and executing live conferences and virtual events (including event registration, speaker recruitment, hotel contracts for events, etc.)
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships, both internally and externally (including with both senior and junior staff and event vendors), to achieve Technomic’s program goals
- Competency to resolve problems, prioritize and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness
- Exhibits stellar multitasking, organization and communication (written and verbal) skills, quality of task execution
- Dependable, highly motivated, collaborative and team-oriented with a strong sense of business acumen
- Competency with Microsoft office tools
Requirements
- 3-5 years of demonstrated event or project management experience
- 3-5 years of demonstrated marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Familiarity with event planning and execution
- Marketo and BigMarker experience a plus
- Experience or interest in staff management
- Interest in the foodservice industry is preferred
- Ability to travel up 5% -10% of the time for industry conferences
