    Job Title: Program Operations Assistant – Inside Safe Program Location: Los Angeles, CA Reports To: Program Manager Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Compensation: $25/hour (DOE)

    Position Summary: B.A.R.E. Truth Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Program Operations Assistant to support the administrative and operational functions of the Inside Safe program. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with documentation standards, supporting HR and financial reporting processes, and maintaining efficient office systems related to service delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment serving vulnerable populations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records, case documentation, and internal filing systems in accordance with compliance standards and grant requirements.

    Assist with preparation and submission of financial reports, including tracking expenses, compiling backup documentation, and organizing monthly reports for funders.

    Support HR and compliance-related functions, including onboarding paperwork, credential tracking, staff training documentation, and personnel file maintenance.

    Coordinate internal communications and calendar support for the program team, including scheduling staff meetings and preparing meeting summaries.

    Monitor inventory and order office and program supplies, ensuring availability of materials for field and administrative teams.

    Provide general administrative assistance to the Inside Safe leadership team, including data entry, photocopying, and assembling reports or program materials as needed.

    Assist with audit preparation and ensure all required documentation is organized and available for review.

    Maintain confidentiality and uphold all policies related to data security and client privacy.

    Qualifications:

    Associate degree or equivalent experience in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.

    At least one year of administrative, HR, or finance-related experience, preferably in a nonprofit or social services setting.

    Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and digital file management systems.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Work Environment: This position is primarily based in-office with occasional local travel to support program operations. The Program Operations Assistant may be required to work occasional evenings or weekends to meet reporting deadlines or support program events.
