We are seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative 245D Program Supervisor to join our leadership team and help guide high-quality services for the people we support and the staff who serve them.

    Position Summary

    The 245D Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing staff and programs within our 245D licensed services. This role provides supervision, leadership, and regulatory guidance to ensure services are delivered in compliance with licensing requirements and reflect best practices in the developmental disabilities field.

    Major Areas of Accountability

    Staff Supervision & Development

    Provide supervision, job direction, and ongoing performance evaluation for Training Specialists, Training Assistants, and Substitute staff

    Assist with hiring, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff training in accordance with 245D operating rules

    Ensure all required training is current and documented

    Coordinate daily staffing patterns to meet program and participant needs

    Program Oversight & Compliance

    Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures in alignment with licensing requirements and program needs

    Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and licensing standards

    Complete and update 6790 forms as required

    Monitor written program reports and relevant data to support quality outcomes

    Leadership & Planning

    Coordinate and implement program changes that improve participant services and outcomes

    Participate in overall agency planning and goal development

    Stay informed on legislative and regulatory updates and provide guidance to agency leadership

    Keep current with developments and best practices in the developmental disabilities field

    Participant & Stakeholder Coordination

    Coordinate participant admissions, transfers, and discharges

    Attend participant planning meetings and Expanded Support Team meetings as needed

    Communicate effectively with people with developmental disabilities, their families, and external professionals and agencies

    Other Duties

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Demonstrated ability to supervise and support the work of others

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Knowledge of the developmental disabilities field and 245D services

    Ability to provide leadership in program planning and implementation

    Ability to interpret regulations and lead their effective implementation

    Ability to develop, support, and facilitate a collaborative team

    Ability to work respectfully and effectively with diverse populations

    Ability to interact positively with people with developmental disabilities

    Ability to use or learn required computer systems

    Commitment to teamwork, cooperation, and a respectful workplace culture

    Qualifications

    a baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR

    an associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR

    a diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR

    a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in 245D.

    Previous supervisory experience preferred
