POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Programming Assistant will support the dynamic flow and function of all classes, events and exhibitions during our dynamic Summer Programming Season.
The Programming Assistant supports all aspects of program, event and exhibition planning and implementation and supports the team with implementation needs for our dynamic summer events schedule. The role supports arts- and events-related programming needs on the Arts District Campus, which includes five discipline-specific art studios, two guest artist live/work studios, a multimedia exhibition space, and other Breck Create-managed cultural venues.
As part of the Program team, this role will support initiatives and efforts to increase the animation and visibility of the Arts District Campus with a focus on aiding residents and visitors and diverse audiences of all ages in the understanding of art through joyful learning experiences. This position is part of a dynamic, inclusive, and creative team who are committed to creating memorable art experiences for all.
This job is located in Breckenridge, Colorado, and is predominantly an in-person position, with some potential for hybrid flexibility. The individual in this role may need to be present for evening and weekend events and will occasionally be on call for immediate issues or problems that arise.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Although primarily administrative, this position requires walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and standing for short periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. This position also requires hearing to accurately understand information at normal spoken word levels in a potentially loud environment and visual observation for reviewing, checking, preparing, and maintaining written and computer files. Manual dexterity is required to operate standard office, data entry, and related studio equipment.
WHAT WE OFFER
