    Job Description: Global Content Marketing As a member of the Global Content Marketing team, you will write and edit thought leadership and demand-generation copy (long and short form) for a variety of channels (including email, web, mobile, infographics, eBooks, video, print, social media, blogs, and events), working closely with the brand messaging and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and turn messaging into compelling copy that engages. Journalism coupled with a high-tech marketing writing background will be helpful to understand Client's brand, business model, products, and marketing goals. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about human to human marketing, are inquisitive and intellectually curious, with a positive spirit and a growth mindset. Objectives of the Role

    • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative tech marketing environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
    • Leverage exceptional storytelling and best-in-class content marketing skills to produce copy that converts readers to buyers
    • Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that evokes emotion, connects with the Client's target audiences, and drives action
    • Comfortably vary tone, style, and other characteristics demanded by the project and target audience at hand while staying true to the Client's brand voice
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communications and content marketing best practices as well as industry trends in cybersecurity, content delivery, and web technology
    • Stay updated on internal style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging and tone

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce exceptional creative copy through execution on assigned projects
    • Research (internally and externally/competitively) and understand the subject matter and target audiences through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with internal subject matter experts, and in-person meetings
    • Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials, including email copy, web copy, advertising copy, infographics, social copy, event copy, and occasional long-form assignments such as blogs and whitepapers
    • Collaborate with a team of marketers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product
    • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to internal stakeholders as needed, and participate in internal pitches on occasion
    • Revise copy based on stakeholder feedback/direction with agility and consistency

    Distribution of Time

    • 90% - Writing: Write original copy for all content (ads, blogs, emails, white papers, eBooks, infographics). Lead the content workflow & creation process to ensure content meets SEO guidelines and includes cross-links and clear calls to action (CTAs).
    • 10% - Content Strategy: Develop authentic narratives to engage buyers and lead them to the right Client's solution. Build content blueprints for each stage of the journey by audience. Teach field teams how to use atomized and long-form content. Manage and socialize the annual editorial calendar.

    • Must have a solid portfolio of work demonstrating a mastery of copywriting for demand generation and conversion, especially headlines and subject lines
    • Bachelors degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
    • Minimum 7-10 years professional copywriting experience in high-tech marketing
    • Must be data-driven with proven experience in accelerating content conversion rates through SEO/SEM, A/B testing, email optimization techniques etc
    • Mixture of agency and in-house experience preferred
    • Exceptional writing and research skills
    • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
    • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
    • Experience using Jira and/or other project management software from project concept to delivery stages
    • Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
    • Global content transcreation/acculturation experience a plus

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Social media experience a plus
    • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
    • Experience working with project and content management systems (Jira, Adobe, WordPress, etc.)
    • A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
    • Experience working with global/international content and content destined for localization/translation is a plus
