    Employment for this position is contingent on a contract award. Project 216 LLC is seeking experienced personnel for the position of Program Manager for a federal government contract proposal with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Visitor Management Support Services. Project 216 LLC will select a qualified applicant if, in fact, the contract is awarded.

    Position: Program Manager

    Responsibilities: The Program Manager shall provide direction to subordinates based on general policies and management guidance. In addition, the Program Manager shall:

    • Assist with policies and procedures that typically affect subordinate organizational units;

    • Assist as an advisor to a unit regarding task, projects, and operations. Frequent contacts

    with internal personnel and outside customers and industry;

    • Provide management and technical support to the Chief-Visitor Management, or designee

    in replacing departed personnel and acquiring new personnel in support of the Visitor

    Management mission;

    • Ensure that fiscal controls are in place to preclude cost overruns;

    • Continually update the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on status of contract

    funding levels; and

    • Provide the progress reports indicated in 8.1 of this section.

    Program Manager Experience, Skills, and Education:

    • Experience in the negotiation of delivery/task orders;

    • Experience or formal training in planning, organizing, management, and performing

    work associated with one or more subtasks relevant to the subject matter domain of the

    project;

    • Manages and coordinates the implementation of a project’s objectives throughout all

    phases of a system’s or project’s life cycle;

    • Monitors each task and reports to the designated government client service executive, and

    /or principal management executive all problems and accomplishments;

    • Anticipates problems and works to mitigate the anticipated problems; and

    • Must comply with all U.S. employment laws and customer security requirements.

    Minimum Education: The Program Manager must have a bachelor’s degree and approximately 3 years of relevant experience; or master’s degree and approximately 1 year of relevant experience.
