    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Administrator (Key Personnel) to support and optimize enterprise-level software systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of in-house systems, while also directing and mentoring other system administrators in a dynamic, multi-site environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize software systems and communication links.
    • Analyze and resolve end user software and connectivity issues across multiple locations.
    • Conduct capacity and performance analysis and recommend system upgrades and configurations.
    • Develop automated tools and scripts to increase administrative efficiency and accuracy.
    • Create system administrator procedures and provide training and skills assessments.
    • Provide on-site and remote maintenance support for servers and deployed applications.
    • Direct the day-to-day work of other systems administrators, ensuring resource optimization and user support.
    • Provide strategic technology recommendations to align with organizational goals.
    • Apply advanced knowledge of application networking, load balancing, and fault tolerance.
    • Conduct vulnerability management and ensure secure system configurations.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline.
    • Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in information processing, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software systems.
    • DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level I (required if assigned “Privileged” access duties).
    • Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
    • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
