About Us
Mathew Richardson Design LLC is a small but growing design-build practice working on exciting residential and light commercial projects across Texas. We manage both design and construction in-house, giving our clients a seamless experience — and giving our team exposure to every stage of the process, from concept to punch list.
We’re looking for a motivated Project Assistant to support multiple active projects, with potential to grow into a Design Coordinator role. This is a great opportunity for a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional who wants paid, hands-on experience in both design and construction while keeping a flexible schedule.
What You’ll Do
Track and organize emails, subcontractor proposals, budgets, and schedules
Support client communication (drafting updates, organizing meeting notes)
Join site visits for field notes, progress tracking, and coordination
Assist with presentations, proposals, and drawing packages
Use of Revit/AutoCAD/SketchUp is a plus, not required
Who You Are
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
Comfortable with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interested in design and construction (architecture, interior design, construction management, or related fields)
Revit/AutoCAD/SketchUp experience helpful but not required
