  • Responsibilities

    Banyan Search is searching for a strong Manager of FP&A for a SERVICE oriented client. Our client has a heart for mission and service to others. 

    The Manager of FP&A is a forward-looking finance leader responsible for budgeting, financial planning, systems optimization, and financial analytics. This role partners closely with senior finance leadership and operational department heads to support informed decision-making and drive efficiency across the organization.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets in collaboration with senior leadership and department heads
    • Develop budget assumptions, models, timelines, and supporting documentation
    • Perform ongoing financial projections, scenario analysis, and long-range financial planning
    • Conduct monthly financial performance reviews versus budget with department leaders, including variance analysis and identification of trends, risks, and opportunities
    • Serve as a financial resource to operational leaders, supporting data-driven decision-making
    • Partner with IT and finance leadership to implement, optimize, and champion enterprise systems and reporting tools
    • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement within finance and across departments
    • Support special projects including financial modeling for strategic initiatives and capital projects
    • Prepare financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership and governing bodies

    Key Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and financial analysis
    • Experience partnering with operational leaders on financial performance and staffing metrics
    • Ability to improve financial systems, reporting tools, and automation
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial audiences

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or financial planning
    • Experience with system implementations or process redesign preferred

    Certifications

    • CPA preferred; CMA or other relevant certifications a plus

    This position is ONSITE and is perfect for someone that wants to take ownership of the FP&A process, working with senior leaders.

    Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship requirements.

    $120,000 per year
